“ Weekend afternoon matcha!! There wasnt any line, but the inside was pretty full. I appreciate that they enforce max seating times, so that everyone has a chance to sit down and enjoy their matcha and pastries. Though I imagine that makes it a bad place to sit and work. We were served our drinks pretty quickly and the matcha was omg so so creamy and delicious. No clumps, just smooth matcha and milk. Absolutely will come back! Parking is awful, but still worth! ”
“ Great matcha here. Definitely gets busy here if you are planning on dining in. I had the hojicha strawberry latte, I loved the strawberry flavoring and the hojicha was nice as well. I also had the souffle cheesecake which was nice and fluffy. ”
“ Stone Mill Matcha is a cozy, peaceful spot in the Mission, perfect for matcha lovers. Their drinks are smooth and well-balanced, whether you go for a simple whisked matcha or a creamy matcha latte. The pastries are just as good. It can get busy and take out can be a wait but the vibe is calm, and the staff is friendly. Prices are a bit high, but the quality makes it worth it. If you're into matcha, this place is a must-visit! ”
“ I came slighly before closing and there was no line. I ordered at the register and then proceeded to wait outside for my order. They have a pick up window that makes it easy to grab your drinks once they're ready. The cashier was super friendly. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte and an iced matcha latte. The drinks were not too sweet, which I love. They also offer desserts and full on meals but the price point for me was a little much. Overall, delicious drinks and I absolutely devoured it. Would definitely be returning if ever in the area. ”
“ Charming cafe located in the mission area of SF! If you are a matcha fan, this is the place for you. They have yummy desserts and drinks all based around matcha. We tried the hand whisk matcha. It had a strong earth taste that paired well with the sweetener. You bite and coat your palette and then drink. The cold brew matcha was great as well. Again, strong earth taste but there are sweeteners and syrups to help give it that kick you may want. ”
“ I really enjoy the matcha here, but I would definitely recommend getting food here. Their pork katsu sando is delicious, and their matchazuke (salmon rice with broth) is a great way to start the morning with a light but filling meal. I want to try their Japanese gozen meal but they only have it on weekdays. Their matcha is good, not that sweet. I've gotten their ginger matcha latte which is pretty gingery so I would only recommend if you really like ginger. Otherwise I'd say get the strawberry matcha latte. The inside has seating for maybe 10-12 small groups? It was tough to fit our group of 6. Also they require the entire party to be there before they seat you, and they're polite but pretty firm about it. I can see it being tough to pop in casually on a weekend since it gets so busy which is a slight deterrent. I personally would rather get there at opening time to avoid a wait. ”
“ finally got to try again after it's re-opening and it's one of my favorite ways to start the day :) I always love getting their rose matcha latte and first time trying to salmon dish and matcha cream pie and both didn't disappoint. love a sweet & savory combo! matcha cream pie was definitely more creamy/milky tasting than matcha tasting if that's what you prefer!! ”
